Through the Re-Energize project, a wonderful new connection was made. Between September 3 and 5, Antonio Atienza-Márquez (University of Málaga, Spain) visited the LEI. Even though the project opened the door, the visit happened thanks to his own initiative — proof of how strong and meaningful these connections can become.
The main discussion was with The Center for Hydrogen Energy Technologies, which presented its activities and discussed potential future collaborations. The main focus was on plasma treatment experiments for various surfaces (from the LEI side) and process modelling (from the University of Malaga side). It was noted that certain processes could be optimized through simulations and modelling of plasma treatment, thereby opening opportunities for novel scientific activities
Many other experiences were shared, knowledge was exchanged, and opportunities for cooperation were discovered that extended far beyond the project itself. The visit highlighted inspiring discussions and paved the way for exciting future collaborations. 🤝✨
