Welcome to
Re-energize!

Re-Energize is funded under the LIFE Programme, the EU’s flagship funding initiative for environmental, nature conservation, and climate action projects.

The Re-Energize project aims to bridge the skills gap in the renewable heating and cooling sectors, specifically focusing on heat pump technologies. The project involves building capacity and raising awareness to promote energy efficiency, public engagement, and the installation of sustainable technologies across various European regions. This will enhance competencies, foster collaborations between stakeholders, and support the EU's energy and environmental goals.
Join us in advancing the renewable energy transition and building a sustainable future for Europe!

Project Objectives

Enhance the skills of professionals in renewable energy.

Promote the adoption of heat pumps and sustainable heating/cooling technologies.

Raise awareness among consumers, stakeholders, and policymakers.

Foster collaboration to achieve EU energy and climate goals.

Target Audience

Including blue- and white-collar workers such as HVAC technicians, engineers, architects, construction workers, and energy auditors. This group is at the heart of the project and directly benefits from the training modules, tools, and capacity building activities.

Trainers and instructors in VET institutions are critical multipliers of the project’s impact. Re-energize equips them with specialized learning materials, train-the-trainer sessions, and methodologies to deliver high-quality, modular training aligned with EQF and national certification systems.

National and local authorities, policymakers, regulators, industry associations, energy agencies, chambers of commerce, and NGOs. These stakeholders are engaged in aligning policies, enabling market uptake, and supporting the integration of sustainable HVAC solutions through meetings, seminars, and policy briefings.

Homeowners, tenants, and the general public are key to driving demand for sustainable heating and cooling technologies. The project promotes awareness, trust, and behavioral change through campaigns, events, and educational resources tailored to non-specialist audiences.

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs), installation companies, and independent contractors who play a key role in deploying heat pump systems at community and household levels. Re-energize helps them upgrade their skills and adapt to new standards and technologies.

Civil society actors and grassroots organizations that can support outreach efforts, amplify messaging, and contribute to community-based adoption of sustainable energy solutions.
